2 ASC Log no 736 Following a call from a member of the public concerning possible crag fast climbers in Cheddar Gorge ASSARs technical rescue element were put on standby at 17.37. A local team member was able to respond immediately and able to confirm with police on the scene that the climbers were ok and properly equipped to finish their route in the dark. Stand down at 17.43.

1 ASC Log no. 900 ASSAR was asked to go on standby by the police following concerns for the welfare of a high risk missing person in the Worlebury Woods area of Weston-super-Mare. The team went on standby at 22.09 and were called out at 22.331. Three search teams deployed into different areas, supported by the police drone team. The missing male was found by police outside the search area and the team was stood down at 02.00.

26 ASC Log no. 574. A single team member attended an incident in a quarry near Cheddar to act as liaison with other emergency services to support a vulnerable male in a dangerous situation. The team member was on scene from 18.20 until 20.30.

25 ASC Log no. 578. ASSAR was requested to search for a vulnerable missing female in Blaise Castle Estate by the police. The team was put on standby at 17.42 and then called out at 17.53. Steep wooded areas were searched while a drone from Avon Fire and Rescue flew above. With the help of the drone a search party was directed into an area and found the missing lady. Team members, along with paramedics provided pre-hospital care but sadly this was not successful. Our thoughts are with the family and friends. Team stood down at 21.55.

24 ASC Log no. 138 ASSAR was requested to go on standby by the police at 8.54 to assist in a search for a vulnerable missing female in the Weston-super-Mare area. The team remained on standby while the police followed other lines of enquiry and were stood down at 10.21 as the missing person was located.

23 ASC Log no. 826 The team were called out at 17:56 to help paramedics move a female casualty from Black Down on the Mendip Hills to the roadside ambulance. Team members packaged the casualty and carried her down. Hand over complete and stood down at 19:57.

22 ASC Log No 1022. The team were put on standby at 23:49 (4/11) and then called out at 00:11 to search for a high risk missing male in Leigh Woods following the discovery of his vehicle nearby. The multi-agency search carried on all night. The team was asked to continue the search during the morning. Extra assistance was given by Severn Area Rescue Association, our thanks to their invaluable support. Sadly the missing male was found deceased in another area of the woods. The team pass on their condolences to his family and friends. Stand down at 15:44.

21 ASC Log no. 424. ASSAR was put on standby at 15.05 to search a quarry and woodland in Leigh Woods following concerns from the police. The team was called out 15.25. As members were about to be deployed the incident was resolved with the missing person being reunited with his possessions and the team was stood down at 16.57.

20 ASC Log no 650. Severn Area Rescue Association requested additional support to search for a high risk missing female south of Gloucester. The team was called out 16.33 and stood down at 20.47 as the missing person was located.

19 ASC Log no. 802 The team were called out at 19.19 to help search for a young missing male in Ashton Court near Bristol. Stood down at 19.40 as the child had been located.

18 ASC Log no. The team was put on standby at 15.32 and called out at 15.36 to move a lady with a lower leg injury in woodland next to Cheddar Gorge to a place of safety. Casualty safely moved along with other agencies. Stood down at 20.04

17 ASC Log no. The team were asked to go on standby to support emergency services in the Porlock area with an ongoing search. The team went on standby at 21.15 but were stood down at 21.55 as the missing person was located.

16 The team was called out at 09.28 to assist Severn Area Rescue Association with their ongoing search. The team was stood down at 14.21.

15 ASC Log no 354. Team members deployed to assist Severn Area Rescue Association search for a vulnerable missing female in the area. The standby was at 08.39 and the callout came at 09.13. Team members searched rural areas and were stood down at 11.58 as the missing person was located safe and well.

14 ASC Log no. 728 ASSAR was put on standby at 17.53 along with Exmoor SRT to help the ambulance service move a lady with a lower leg injury from a woodland to the ambulance. The team was called out at 18.04. Team members located her, and moved her safely. Team stood down at 20.06

13 ASC Log no. 0091 Following concerns for the welfare of a male from the Cheddar area the team was called out at 04.28. Search teams deployed into paths and woodland south of Shipham. Sadly the missing male was found deceased. The team helped the partner emergency services move him to a roadside ambulance. The team was stood down at 11.19.

12 Glos Pol Log no. 133 Severn Area Rescue Association requested assistance via Avon and Somerset Police to help with a large search for a missing male in the Forest of Dean area. Several members deployed in the area after the callout at 10.55. Despite extensive searches from a wide variety of agencies nothing was found and the team was stood down at 19.31 pending further investigations.

11 ASC Log no. 699 The team were put on Standby at 15:40 then Called out at 16:00 to help the ambulance service move a young female who had collapsed in Rowberrow Forest to an ambulance. Team stood down at 17:34.

10 ASC Log no. 238 Request from the police to assist Exmoor SRT in a search for a missing person. Put on standby at 09.36, called out at 10.22 to land near Honiton. Stood down at 15.09 pending further police investigations.
